Chantecler Fanciers International

The June 2010 Newsletter and the updated Breeders Directory have been uploaded in the Members Area.

We have set up a new discussion list open to all current members of the club. This list will eventually replace the Forum in the Members Area. The list allows discussion posts to and from email accounts, rather than having to log into a separate website to participate. Hopefully this will make things easier for Members to exchange information and will encourage more member participation.

You can join the mailing list by clicking the link in the Members Area and following the instructions on the following page. Members can receive posts individually, or by choosing the “Digest” option, can get a summary of the day’s posts in one daily email. The join page also includes links to archives of past posts, and also the option to unsubscribe from the list.

The Discussion Forum will remain up and running for a while until we transition over to the new list.

I have added the first two issues of the Newsletter to the Members Area.

The latest Newsletter and the Breeders Directory are finished and scheduled to go out to members next week.

If you haven’t joined or renewed your membership for 2009 yet, click the About/Join link for mailing information or to renew online through PayPal.

Chantecler Fanciers International now accepts membership payments by credit card online using PayPal. On the About/Join page, there is now a button to pay via credit card and choose one year, two year or three year membership. There is a very small fee to cover the PayPal fees if making a credit card payment.

Regular mail in memberships using checks or money orders are still $10 per year. Print and fill out the Membership Form to send in along with your membership fee. If paying online, you can send the info in an email to chanteclerfancier@othalaacres.com.

Membership runs from January 1 – December  31st, so for those who have paid membership for  2008, renewals for 2009 are due. Members will be set up with an account to access the Members Area, which features a Message  Forum, Photo Albums, archived Newsletters and the Breeders Directory. If you are not yet set up for access to the Members Area, send me an email request and I’ll get you set up right away.

P.S. – The Newsletter is almost ready to print, but could use more material, so please email me your articles, show reports, member profiles and classified advertising (for sale & wanted).

Welcome to the Chantecler  Fanciers  International website. Information on joining, history of the club, shows, etc, are available here. There is a Members Area for paid CFI members. If you are a member and have not been issued login information, email chanteclerfancier@othalaacres.com with your info and it will be emailed to you.

If you have any chantecler-related news, shows, photos, member bio or other information, please email it to me to be included in a future newsletter.

We are currently working on the Breeders List. If you have not submitted your information yet, please send the information on to me or Mike to be included (your name/farm, contact information, type/color of Chanteclers owned & offered, and whether you offer eggs, chicks, started, adults, and if you ship).
